payments and cancelation policy
Diving for certified divers
You can conveniently pay by credit/debit card in advance or in cash on the day of your booked activity. Live for Diving covers the credit card fees, so the prices you see on this page already include them. There are no hidden costs; what you see is what you pay.
For boat dives, payment must be made in advance, 48 hours before boat departure, to confirm your spot on the boat.
Shore dives can be paid on the day of the activity.
In the event of extreme weather conditions such as typhoons, a full refund of your payment will be provided. If you cancel more than 24 hours before the activity, a 50% refund will be issued. No refunds will be provided for cancellations within 24 hours of your diving activity. Full refunds can be provided for cancellations made well in advance of your booked activity.
If weather conditions change and your preferred dive location becomes unsafe, you will be promptly notified when information is available. Alternative dive sites will be offered. If these alternative locations are not acceptable to you, the entire activity can be canceled with a full refund.
For PADI courses
PADI courses must be paid for one week in advance. Upon full payment, the PADI e-learning materials will be shared with the student. Please note that the PADI e-learning material is non-refundable. If courses are canceled within one week, a full refund minus 15,000 yen for the material can be issued. For cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice, no refunds will be provided.
For our courses, we always strive to select the best diving spots that are not only beautiful but also enjoyable. If conditions do not permit safe diving at a particular location, alternative dive sites will be chosen, prioritizing safety above all else.
If boat diving becomes impossible due to weather conditions during teaching courses, we will opt for beach dive locations to complete the classes. This change in venue is not considered a reason for cancellation and will not be accepted. Our priority is always to ensure the safety of our students while completing their courses.
